Electrão’s licensing as a managing entity of WEEE’s specific stream was granted by Joint Order 5257/2018, of 25 May, their initial licensing was carried out through the Joint Order 354/2006, of 27 April. This diploma established the conditions for the organisation and management of the Integrated Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment Management System (SIGREEE).
Electrão’s waste portable and industrial batteries and accumulators managing activity was regulated by Joint Order 1262/2010, of 19 January, which originated the Integrated Waste Batteries and Accumulators Management System (SIGRPA).
With the grant of our third license regarding packaging management, on August 2017, through Order 6907/2017, of 9 August, it closed Electrão Network’s activity cycle with the development of the Integrated Waste Packaging Management System (SIGRE).
