Our compromise with the sustainability of our services reflects our effort.

In 2018 we collected 71 mil tons of WEEE, BAW and PW. This amount of waste is equivalent to 58 thousand of tons of avoided materials.

In 2018 our activity of WEEE, BAW and PW stream management was responsible for reducing 367 thousand tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, the equivalent of 90 thousand cars emissions and 46 thousand GWh of energy, enough to power 14 thousand families for a year.

Electric and electronic equipments

In what WEEE refers, the collection of 43 thousand tonnes of WEEE in 2018 implied the consumption reduction of  1 225 tonnes of copper, enough to produce 82 million mobile phones.

Batteries and accumulators

Concerning batteries and accumulators waste, in 2018 the collection of 235 tonnes of batteries and accumulators waste implied the recovery of 1 tonne of cadmium, which could be used to manufacture around 750 photovoltaic panels.

In 2018 the correct treatment of 28 mil tonnes  of  packaging waste avoied the deposition of e  6 900 tonne of plastic in the sea.

In 2017 we collected 40 thousand tonnes of WEEE and BAW. This amount of waste is equivalent to 29 thousand of tonnes of avoided materials.

In 2017 our activity of WEEE and BAW stream management was responsible for reducing 319 thousand tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, the equivalent of 83 thousand cars emissions and 42 thousand GWh of energy, enough to power 13 thousand families for a year.

In what WEEE refers, the collection of 43 thousand tonnes of WEEE in 2017 implied the consumption reduction of 1 143 tonnes of copper, enough to produce 76 million mobile phones.

Batteries and Accumulators

Concerning batteries and accumulators waste, in 2017 the collection of 192 tonnes of batteries and accumulators waste implied the recovery of  400 kg of alluminium, which could be used to manufacture around 32 thousand juice cans. 

In 2017 the 19 mil tonnes of ferrous metals recovered from recycled WEEE would be sufficient to manufacture 651 thousand washing machines.

In 2016 we collected 38 thousand tonnes of WEEE and BAW. This amount of waste is equivalent to 26 thousand of tonnes of avoided materials.

Concerning batteries and accumulators waste, in 2016 the collection of 202 tonnes of batteries and accumulators waste implied the recovery of 8 tonnes of iron, which could be used to manufacture around 13 cars. 

In 2016 the collection of 38 thousand tonnes of WEEE avoided the deposition of 2 598 tonnes of plastics, which would be sufficient to produce 84 thousand of refrigerators.
